Our open source electronic consent management solution gICS® was first made available for free use in 2014 and is part of the MIRACOLIX-Toolbox of the MIRACUM consortium.
The current publication in the BMC Journal Translational Medicine Communications, entitled “A Survey on the current status and future perspective of informed consent management in the MIRACUM consortium of the German Medical Informatics Initiative”, summarizes the current state of art in the field of informed consent management at the 10 MIRACUM sites and presents current requirements for gICS – particularly with regard to the intended broad implementation in MIRACUM.
