As part of the commenting process (Ballot) carried out at the beginning of 2023 in accordance with the voting rules of HL7 Germany, we received a wide range of comments and suggestions from all four consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) and several sites of the Network of University Medicine (NUM).
All comments were collected centrally on GitHub and processed accordingly. The final release of the fTTP implementation guide has now been officially published: https://www.ths-greifswald.de/fttp/fhir/ig/stable
The guide specifies and describes how the necessary functional operations for realising the fTTP interfaces (probability, clearing) were technically mapped on the basis of HL7 FHIR. The corresponding implementation was carried out via TTP-FHIR Gateway and is already being used productively within the framework of NUM-RDP for the realisation of cross-site Privacy-Preserving Record Linkages (PPRL) and is also relevant for the planned convergence of MII and NUM.
We would like to thank all participants in the commenting phase for their joint work and hope that the result will be well received in practice. Should corrections be necessary in practice or additional requirements arise, it is still possible to communicate these via GitHub issue.
